Team Leader – Contract Position (Care Home)
Located in: Beautiful market town of Melton Mowbray
Within our private, luxury care home providing:
- Residential care
- Dementia care
- Nursing care
- Respite care Catering for up to 88 residents.
Job Details
- Salary: £15.00 per hour
- Contract: 38.5–44 hours per week (full-time equivalent)
- Holiday Leave: 5.6 weeks annually (based on full-time contract)
Package Includes:
- Paid DBS check

- Uniform provided
### Role Overview
You will lead day-to-day care operations and ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred support. Supporting the nursing and management team, you will:

✅ Maintain high standards of care delivery and compliance with best practices. ✅ Lead shifts, supervise and support care staff, and coordinate care services. ✅ Manage key responsibilities, including:
- Care planning
- Medication administration
- Documentation and risk management
- Ensuring practices meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards
✅ Promote a culture of respect, dignity, accountability, and professionalism. ✅ Role-model positive working practices, support staff development, and encourage continuous improvement. ✅ Responsible for pursuing excellence to uphold a well-run, high-performing care environment.
### What We Are Looking For

- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (required)
- Medication administration training with demonstrated competency
- Experience leading or supporting a care team
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach
