Team Leader

The role of a Team Leader is to be responsible for overseeing an area of the production process during the shift, leading a team of operatives to ensure that the KPIs and our customer expectations are met in full and on time. You will collaborate closely with other departments to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and food safety and quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading a team of colleagues on the shift to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time
  • Fostering a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement
  • Schedule and assign tasks to team members, monitoring their performance, and providing constructive feedback
  • Dealing with day-to-day queries from colleagues – liaising with HR, Training Teams as required
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records (including computerized/digital) on production, food safety data, and analyze this data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution centre environment
  • Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment
  • Experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment or distribution centre environment
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse and production environment

Working Schedule

Two available shift patterns - please specify if you have a preference of shifts in your application:

  • Wednesday to Saturday, 0700 - 1900 rotating from days and nights every 3 months
  • Sunday to Wednesday, 0700 - 1900 rotating from days and nights every 3 months
