Team Leader- Warehouse
Team Leader – Warehousing (Full-Time, 07:30-16:00, Monday-Friday)
Brief Description
The Team Leader plays a pivotal role within the Warehousing function of the Company. The role involves overseeing forklift operatives and warehouse staff while ensuring customer orders are picked accurately and materials are efficiently received and distributed to support the manufacturing department.
Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Motivate and supervise the team to meet customer requirements on time.
- Goods Handling:
- Oversee Goods In and Goods Out, verifying deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Ensure timely booking of materials in and out.
- Warehouse Maintenance:
- Maintain clean and organised work areas within the warehouse and yard.
- Participate in monthly stock takes and daily cycle counting.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Complete and apply first aid training, providing assistance as required.
- Enforce Health & Safety (H&S) policies, reporting incidents to the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor or QHSE Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to Company policies, escalating any issues to management.
- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and assist new recruits in the department.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect and maintain forklifts, racking, and other equipment to high standards.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify operational improvements and propose them to management.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Maintain daily communication with management, reporting any operational issues.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as directed by management to support business needs.

- Supervisory/Training Experience – Previous experience in leading or training teams.
- Attitude & Work Ethic:
- Uptbeat, proactive "can-do" mindset.
- Highly organised and resilient.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills.
