Warehouse Team Leader

Pay Rate: £31,435.65 (annual)

Grade: O

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift Patterns:

  • Wednesday/Thursday/Friday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • 1 Saturday every 4th week

Location: Cannock, WS11

  • Ensure Safety

    • Maintain high safety standards and compliance with all regulations.
    • Foster a secure and supportive workplace for everyone.
  • Monitor Performance

    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Drive continuous improvement to exceed targets.

Who We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for those with:

  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution—ideally with team leadership or supervisory duties.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, including:
    • Motivating teams to meet targets.
    • Coaching and developing team members.
  • Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to prioritise workloads and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence working with:
    • Colleagues, management, and other departments.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Warehouse health & safety procedures.
    • Inventory management systems.
    • WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)—familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
