Job Description

Who will you be working with?

Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Manufacturing team, working on the 0545-1400 shift (39.25 hours/week) Monday to Friday, working/reacting in a high pressure fast moving manufacturing environment, using KPI’s to manage both process and staffing, understand lean and use of lean tools, techniques and waste reduction and must be able to work closely with the current manufacturing team whilst being flexible enough to move between department to support other areas of the business when required and embrace change management.

Responsible for:

  • Health and Safety of all persons reporting to or in the area at any time
  • NRFT/QRQC, reporting and identifying root causes of any defects, introducing/maintaining measures to prevent re-occurrence
  • Daily output from the process, reporting and investigating the reason for missed targets
  • Process audits/process adherence
  • Lean/Daily Management
  • Other duties from time to time as required
