Team Leader
Role: Team Leader
Location: Swadlincote (DE11 0WU)
Contract Type: 6 Month FTC
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: Between 8:00am - 8:00pm
Salary: £30,160.00 Per Annum
At Restore Digital, we have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to join our brand-new on-site team and play a key role in shaping its success.
As a Team Leader, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, supporting the production team to deliver outstanding results. You’ll oversee daily activities, ensure our high operational standards are maintained, and make sure all processes align with Restore Digital’s policies and procedures. Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments, you’ll help drive performance and ensure demanding service level agreements are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities:
- Support the line manager in coordinating and implementing daily activities within the department
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a collaborative environment and leading by example
- Assume responsibility in the absence of the line manager, assigning tasks and ensuring the team operates efficiently
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team, addressing enquiries and managing conflicting priorities
- Coach, advise, and motivate team members to achieve personal and professional excellence aligned with business goals
- Enforce Restore Digital's policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines, ensuring team compliance
- Monitor team performance against objectives, escalate concerns, and identify training needs to enhance efficiency
- Provide daily metrics and reports to line management

Essential Criteria:
- Ability to effectively resolve problems and make informed decisions
- Previous experience in a team leader role would be beneficial however it is not required
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership would be beneficial, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, capable of handling customer complaints courteously and effectively
- Familiarity with working in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting
- Able to securely handle materials and data in line with safety and confidentiality standards, ensuring no breaches or violations.
- Able to use a trolley safely to move multiple boxes (typically 5-6 at a time).
- Confident in carrying out physical tasks, including lifting, sorting and repetitive handling of boxes weighing approximately up to 5kg.
- Experienced using navigation tools safely and effectively whilst driving
- Have basic Computer and communication skills to follow instructions, read labels and safety information, and to complete data entry tasks
- Support other Operation departments by completing data entry, scanning, storing and indexing tasks accurately
