Team Leader – Supported Living (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Newbury, West Berkshire
Salary: From £14.00 per hour (plus competitive sleep-in rate)
Century Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established supported living provider delivering high-quality care and support to adults with autism, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities within the community.
We are seeking 2 dedicated and experienced Team Leaders to join their team in Newbury, West Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference and who have the skills and experience to lead and support a committed care team.

Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work a mixture of day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.

About the Role
We are looking for experienced Team Leaders with a strong background in supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities. You will lead by example, ensuring high standards of care while supporting and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, medication administration, and promoting independence.
- Arrange and attend appointments as required.
- Deliver person-centred support in line with individual care plans, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all contracted shifts are covered by coordinating staffing, including annual leave, sickness, and training.
- Supervise, support, and develop staff through regular supervisions and team meetings.
- Contribute to the development and review of support plans, risk assessments, and person-centred plans.
- Build positive relationships with families and professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and continuous service improvement.

About You
You will have:
- Previous experience supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities.
- Experience leading or supervising a care team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach.
- Flexibility to work a full-time rota including days, nights, weekends, and sleep-ins.
