You'll design and embed the systems and processes that enable us to scale high-quality coaching.
If you're a confident, thoughtful leader with experience building and managing high-performing teams, a genuine passion for health and wellbeing, and a drive to make meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.
At Second Nature, we're on a mission to make healthy living astonishingly easy — and to eradicate type 2 diabetes and obesity through world-class digital health coaching.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support our health coaching team (nutritionists and dietitians): Manage a team of remote health coaches, creating a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure operational excellence: You'll simplify complex workflows, reduce friction for your team, and use data to design smarter, more efficient ways of working
- Drive performance and quality: Monitor team efficiency using internal quality and operational tools to optimise service performance and outcomes
- Coach development: Deliver regular feedback and coaching to help team members grow in confidence, skill, and impact
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with fellow Health Coach Managers, Operations Managers, Quality Managers, and teams across Product, NHS, and Partnerships to drive innovation and alignment
What We're Looking For
- Proven people management experience (3+ years) with a track record of developing and supporting teams
- Strong operational background - able to use data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and translate insights into actionable solutions
- Excellent communication and feedback skills, able to inspire, support, and drive accountability
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and resilient - not afraid to roll up your sleeves to make things happen
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement by challenging existing ways of working and introducing new workflows or best practices
- Passion for health, wellbeing, and behaviour change, and excitement about the role technology can play in transforming lives
- Confident working both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Strong tech literacy and comfortable working from a laptop 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
