Salary £46,142 - £51,356 per annum | Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week (Weds PM, Thurs and Fri) | Pro Rata
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Manager to lead the Hyndburn Neighbourhood Team within the Older People and Physical Disability (OPPD) Service in East Lancashire.
This is a key leadership role within Adult Social Care, responsible for managing a busy and dedicated team supporting older people and adults with physical disabilities to achieve positive outcomes, maximise independence and maintain wellbeing within their local communities. The post holder will provide leadership, professional oversight and operational management to Social Workers, Senior Social Workers and Social Care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, strengths-based and person-centred services.
The successful candidate will oversee workforce performance, supervision, safeguarding practice, assessments, support planning and reviews, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with legislative requirements, best practice and Lancashire County Council's values. They will work collaboratively with health colleagues, providers and partner agencies to promote integrated working and effective support for local residents.
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker with substantial post-qualifying experience, excellent knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation and a proven ability to lead, motivate and develop staff. You will be committed to promoting independence, managing risk proportionately, supporting continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes for people who draw upon care and support services.
