The Opportunity

Are you a people-focused leader who enjoys helping teams deliver brilliant customer experiences? We’re looking for a Team Manager to lead one of our Automotive Contact Centre teams in Mitcheldean.

In this role, you’ll create an inclusive, supportive and high-performing environment where colleagues feel trusted, coached and empowered to do their best work. You’ll help your team deliver service that makes a real difference for our customers, while supporting operational goals and continuous improvement.

This opportunity could suit an experienced Team Manager or someone ready to take the next step into people leadership. What matters most is your ability to bring out the best in others, communicate clearly, make fair decisions and stay focused on customer outcomes in a busy contact centre environment.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Operations, Quality, Training, Resource Planning and support teams to improve the customer journey, solve problems and share ideas that help us work better together.

We’ll support your growth through development opportunities, coaching and the chance to build your leadership experience within a global organisation that values people, innovation and customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach and support a customer-facing team to deliver high-quality service.
  • Create a positive and inclusive team culture where colleagues feel valued, respected and able to contribute.
  • Use regular one-to-ones, feedback and development conversations to help colleagues grow and perform at their best.
  • Monitor team performance, customer outcomes and quality measures, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support complex customer queries and escalations with empathy, professionalism and sound judgement.
  • Encourage continuous improvement by listening to colleagues, sharing ideas and helping the team adapt to change.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Talent Acquisition, Training and other support teams to deliver fair, consistent and positive people outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience leading, coaching or supporting people in a customer-focused environment, such as a contact centre, retail, hospitality, service or operations setting.
  • A collaborative leadership style, with the confidence to motivate others, give constructive feedback and build trust.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach for different people and situations.
  • Comfort using information, feedback or performance data to understand what is working well and where improvements are needed.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, make decisions and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest in developing people, improving customer experience and creating a team culture where everyone can thrive.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
