About the Role
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Team Manager for its client to lead a specialist service encompassing:
- Child Protection Chairs
- Fostering Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs)
- Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced manager with a deep understanding of safeguarding, fostering, and review processes.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of professionals to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and permanency planning for children. Core responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team of Child Protection Chairs, Fostering IROs, and the LADO
- Ensuring statutory responsibilities and review processes are met with rigour and consistency
- Promoting high-quality safeguarding practice and permanency planning
- Providing oversight and challenging to ensure effective multi-agency working
- Supporting continuous improvement and service development
- Representing the service in strategic forums and contributing to policy shaping

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Proven leadership experience in children’s social care
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, fostering regulations, and IRO responsibilities
- Ability to manage complex systems and drive performance
- Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
- A commitment to promoting the welfare and voice of the child
