This exclusive opportunity arises for a Band 8a Team Manager within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT), part of the Urgent Care Pathway under the Directorate of Mental Health.

As a leader, you will:

  • Oversee operational and clinical delivery of a CQC-rated Good service across all domains
  • Work with a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to high-quality, person-centred care
  • Play a key role in shaping mental health services across Leicester and Leicestershire, driving continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

Purpose & Accountabilities

  • Oversee CRHTT operational performance with accountability for:
    • Clinical governance, patient safety, and quality assurance
    • Budget management and cost-improvement programmes
  • Provide clinical and managerial leadership, shaping service development

Core Duties

  • Lead with visible, compassionate managerial presence
  • Ensure clinically effective service delivery
  • Monitor and evaluate quality-of-care standards
  • Serve as a go-to expert within the Urgent Care Pathway
  • Influence service improvement, acting as a change agent
  • Manage budgets efficiently
  • Participate in the On-Call Manager Rota
  • Drive successful change management initiatives
