An exciting opportunity has arisen within Fife Health and Social Care Partnership for a full-time Team Manager within Care at Home Services. You will provide strong professional and operational leadership, with clear accountability for the performance, quality and governance of services delivered by a team of Locality Lead Officers, Home care co-ordinators and other staff.
Working closely with Service Managers and senior colleagues, you will lead the delivery of strategic and statutory priorities at locality level. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of practice, effective risk management and robust decision-making, while providing regular supervision, guidance and leadership to support staff in delivering positive, person-centred outcomes for people who use services and their families.
Operational Delivery and Workforce Leadership
You will have day-to-day responsibility for the effective operational delivery of care at home services, ensuring workloads are managed safely and resources are deployed effectively to meet service demand. You will provide regular, high-quality supervision and professional oversight, supporting staff to manage complex casework, exercise sound professional judgement and work confidently within legislative and policy frameworks.
You will lead on workforce development within the team, identifying learning needs, supporting continuous professional development and promoting reflective practice. Through clear performance management, coaching and leadership, you will build a skilled, resilient and motivated workforce, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement in line with Fife Health and Social Care Partnership priorities.

Job Details
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Team Manager to join our Care at Home Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality care and support that enables people to remain independent, safe, and well within their own homes and communities.
As Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the operational management, leadership, and continuous development of the service. Working closely with the Service Manager and key partners, you will ensure the delivery of person-centred, outcome-focused services that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
The Person
- Must hold SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9, Management SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF Level 10 or equivalent.
- Experience of supervising, supporting and developing staff, including effective workload management and performance conversations.
- Ability to assess and manage risk, make defensible decisions and provide clear professional oversight of complex casework.
- Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care that meets individual needs and complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and the National Care Standards.
- A full driving licence and the ability to travel across Fife as required.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration. If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible, so you are registered within the required six months.
