Job Description

Are you an experienced team manager wanting to bring energy into a brand-new opportunity? Inspirational Field Team Manager needed to work for CPM to motivate and manage a team of business development executives, supporting one of our leading clients in a fast-paced field sales environment. £37.7k (pro rata) + bonus. A driver’s licence that enables you to drive in the UK is essential, manual licence required for the car. 12-week fixed term contract

Ideal location: Birmingham, United Kingdom, B1

Territory covering: Territory covering all of UK (Scotland - Eastbourne)

Working within the independent retail channel, you’ll support a team who represent an innovative, market-leading smoke-free product brand, helping retailers grow their business while driving sales performance and visibility for the brand.

This is a fully field-based role, requiring travel across the team territories. You do need to be happy to stay away during the week.

A day in the life of a field sales team manager:

  • Reporting to the Client Service Manager, you will build and nurture a strong bond across your team, sharing best practice to deliver against all sales and activation targets.
  • Train and coach your team to deliver the right tailored solution for every outlet which delivers the best possible return for both the outlet and the Nutrabolt portfolio.
  • Encourage your team to consistently find new opportunities to increase visibility and rate of sale.
  • Partner with the wider business team to deliver the brand and regional growth strategy, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

This would be a great field sales team manager role for you if:

  • You are experienced and knowledgeable about the convenience/wholesale sector, able to draw on your experience to guide the team and form well-judged plans to grow the business.
  • Have previous experience in managing a sales team to deliver to targets across a broad range of measures.
  • You are a problem solver, proactively seeking ways to improve processes.
  • You have good presentation and influencing skills, experience in evaluation, data analysis, and report writing.
  • You will need to be happy to stay overnight (from time to time), travel across the territory, and attend regional and national meetings.
