Team Manager in Food – Food, Fast-Paced Leadership Role

Join Marks & Spencer (M&S) as a Team Manager in Food, where you’ll lead from the front and play a pivotal role in transforming our stores for next-generation customers.

This isn’t a traditional back-office leadership role. You’ll operate on the shop floor, driving standards, inspiring your team, and delivering exceptional service, commercial precision, and top-tier results—even in high-pressure moments.

Requirements & What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in leading teams within fast-paced retail or customer-focused environments
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the confidence to use data and insights to drive performance
  • Ability to coach, develop, and manage performance with clarity and empathy
  • Comfortable conducting constructive, sometimes difficult conversations
  • A resilient, adaptable mindset, with the energy to navigate change
  • Digital fluency and openness to innovative ways of working
  • A natural alignment with customer service excellence, inclusion, and M&S behaviours
