About The Role
As a Team Manager at Matalan, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading our stores by embodying our Matalan Values while optimising sales and guiding high-performing teams. Your responsibilities include:

- Supporting the Store Manager when they are unavailable
- Coaching and motivating team members
- Integrating customer feedback to enhance the shopping experience
- Implementing seasonal layouts and visual merchandising initiatives
- Opening, closing, and managing day-to-day operations of the store

Key Responsibilities:
- Driving sales targets and identifying opportunities

- Leading Visual Merchandising (VM) efforts throughout the store

About You
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Have previous experience in Fashion or Homeware Retail, ideally in a management or supervisory capacity
- Demonstrate confident communication skills, including ability to engage and motivate teams
- Provide evidence of leadership experience
- Possess a strong understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM)
- Show proven sales-driving ability, with a propensity towards innovation and strategy
- Be knowledgeable about operational retail processes and cost Awareness
- Remain adaptable under pressure and open to change
