Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team to provide an exceptional customer experience in-store
  • Recruiting, training, and fostering team development to create a high-performing, capable workforce
  • Coaching staff to ensure deep product knowledge and a passionate service approach
  • Driving trade activities using expertise and insights to boost sales and profitability
  • Developing strategic plans to optimise resources and hours for the best customer impact
  • Solving root-cause issues with sustainable, long-term solutions
  • Enforcing colleague safety protocols and ensuring legal compliance with security measures
  • Empowering yourself and the team to innovate for customers, communities, and sustainability

Required Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Proven leadership experience in developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to share knowledge and drive teamwork for results
  • A customer-first mindset and strong relationship-building capability with staff and customers
  • Strong resilience and judgement to make decisions that support both colleagues and customers
  • Consistent energy and drive, inspiring motivation to exceed expectations
  • Awareness of competitor activities and the ability to identify ways to improve the store experience
