As the Team Manager for the Schools’ Swimming Service, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high health and safety standards while providing essential swimming opportunities for schools. This is your chance to lead a dedicated team and make a positive impact in our community!
In This Pivotal Role, You Will
- Ensure the Schools’ Swimming Service meets health and safety standards in line with industry guidelines.
- Oversee the recruitment of staff to meet the needs of schools and centres.
- Manage the Schools’ Swimming Service budget effectively.
- Facilitate swimming access for schools to meet national curriculum requirements.
- Produce relevant statistics to monitor service delivery.
- Provide line management for Senior Practitioners, Technical Specialists, and Lifeguards.
- Act as the Safeguarding Lead, ensuring all staff undergo relevant training and maintain up-to-date DBS checks.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
- A relevant qualification in social care, education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing teams and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, particularly in swimming environments.
- Experience in safeguarding practices and procedures.
