About the Role
We are seeking an innovative Reunification Service Team Manager for this exciting 2-year role. The service is dedicated to strengthening support for children and families to enable safe, sustainable returns home.
This child-centred team will provide targeted, intensive support to improve outcomes, ensuring children experience stability, permanence, and positive family relationships. You will build on existing foundations to deliver effective reunification support.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the Reunification Team, ensuring practitioners deliver high-quality direct work with children and families focused on risk reduction, family resilience, and successful reunification.
- Service Development: Shaping and developing this evolving service while collaborating with partner agencies to foster a multi-agency, coordinated approach.
- Workforce & Practice: Contribute to workforce development, recruitment, budget management, and uphold a strong quality practice focus on measurable outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with existing Social Work Teams and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and collaboration.
- Practice Innovation: Help embed new reunification offers and test pioneering approaches to make a measurable difference to children and families.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: Hold a Social Work qualification.
- Experience: Demonstrate proven experience working with children in care and those returning home.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, people management, mentoring, and the ability to develop and inspire practitioners.
- Essential: A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
