Role Title: Team Member

Salary: £34,847.57

Working Hours: 7am-7pm

2 week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Location: Long Lane, Aintree, L9 7BQ

What will this role achieve?

A Team Member role is part of the Manufacturing Team, contributing to achieving the goal of the Factory by efficiently carrying out assigned tasks. The aim is to manufacture the Company’s product to an agreed specification in a safe, high quality and cost effective manner, with a right first-time approach. Team Members will work alongside other Team Member at different levels including ATM’s and cross-functionally, meeting defined targets complying with safety, quality and behavioural guidelines

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards.
  • Optimise line output via the setup of machines and the review of line performance data.
  • Material movement co-ordination.
  • Ensure plant start-up / shut-down are planned and performed in line with standard working documents and checklists.
  • To maximise plant efficiency and to minimise TOS and waste (recycling all products effectively).
  • Ensure food safety and quality checks are routinely completed on the line.
  • Actively use online PQA (or equivalent) as a means of achieving quality standards.
  • Ensure key operational information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift Teams.
  • Demonstrate to others the main tasks associated with the role to support and underpin site training programme.

What does the recruitment process consist of?

  • Online Assessments – Swift Comprehension Aptitude assessment and Workplace English. This should take around 60 minutes to complete.
  • Practical Assessment and Interview – On site assessment followed by a 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
