Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Experience:
    • Greet guests warmly + provide exceptional service.
    • Scan tickets, take payments, and upsell food/drinks.
    • Keep energy levels high with attentional, engaging interactions.
  • Service Delivery:
    • Maintain fast, efficient service – minimise queues.
    • Reset tables between sessions + refresh venues.
  • Game Support:
    • Explain rules clearly; assist guests with gameplay.
    • Monitor slot machines randomly to spot incidents of cheating/gambling harm.
  • Safety & Policy:
    • Follow health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
    • Challenge age restrictions confidently.
    • Report any suspicious behaviour straightaway.
  • Teamwork:
    • Assist across Front of House, free games, Food & Beverage, and cleaning when needed.
  • Sustainability:
    • Packaging-free food/drinks policy (Waskelly-brewed filter coffee).
    • Radio-friendly venue with local music updates.

Requirements

  • Basic service skills – previous experience in hospitality, retail, or leisure is helpful but not necessary.
  • Strong customer service – warmth, friendliness, and problem-solving sense.
  • Adaptability – shift flexibly from Bingo to cleansing tables.
  • Communication – a team player who speaks clearly to colleagues + guests.
