Guest Services Coordinator – The Guard House
The Guard House is a well-known, high-energy pub located in the heart of the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. With a large, open space and a bustling bar at its core, we’re the go-to spot for locals seeking great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. We pride ourselves on offering consistent quality—a strong drinks range and classic British dishes—with our Sunday roasts being a family favourite.
At the Guard House, we create a welcoming space where everyone feels at home, be it a casual catch-up or a celebration of key life moments. We aim to be more than just a pub; we want it to be the place where your family feels proud to say, “I work at the Guard House.”

Key Responsibilities (General Scope)
- Providing friendly, high-quality service to patrons.
- Operating efficiently in a fast-paced bar/restaurant/catering environment.
- Assisting in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and stock management.
- Upholding licensing laws and safety guidelines.
- Supporting team growth by mentoring new team members or apprentices.
Skills & Attributes (Preferred)
- Customer service excellence

- Enthusiasm for hospitality and social environments
- Ability to work flexible hours (pub opening times may vary)
