Guest Services Coordinator – The Guard House

The Guard House is a well-known, high-energy pub located in the heart of the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. With a large, open space and a bustling bar at its core, we’re the go-to spot for locals seeking great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. We pride ourselves on offering consistent quality—a strong drinks range and classic British dishes—with our Sunday roasts being a family favourite.

At the Guard House, we create a welcoming space where everyone feels at home, be it a casual catch-up or a celebration of key life moments. We aim to be more than just a pub; we want it to be the place where your family feels proud to say, “I work at the Guard House.”

We are actively seeking dedicated and passionate team members who share our commitment to excellence, community, and exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities (General Scope)

  • Providing friendly, high-quality service to patrons.
  • Operating efficiently in a fast-paced bar/restaurant/catering environment.
  • Assisting in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and stock management.
  • Upholding licensing laws and safety guidelines.
  • Supporting team growth by mentoring new team members or apprentices.

Skills & Attributes (Preferred)

  • Enthusiasm for hospitality and social environments
  • Ability to work flexible hours (pub opening times may vary)
