About Us
We burst onto the restaurant scene in 1997, shaking up London and redefining how the UK ate. Our innovative approach featured kaiten conveyor belts and colour-coded dishes, establishing our name.
Passionate about fresh, flavourful, authentic Japanese food, we’re best known for sushi, but also offer a tempting variety of hot street food—from traditional favourites to creative fusion. Today, we boast over 70 restaurants worldwide, more than 300 kiosks in the UK, plus grocery products and pre-packed sushi available in most major UK supermarkets.

Responsibilities
- Customer engagement: Warm greetings and welcoming interactions for reservations, bookings, and walk-ins
- Product knowledge: Full awareness of menu offerings to answer customer queries confidently
- Sales promotion: Maximising opportunities to showcase dishes and menus
- Safety compliance:
- Upholding Health & Safety, hygiene controls, and allergen awareness
- Completing mandatory training for customer and team safety
- Using Trail app guidelines for cleaning and maintenance
- Service excellence:
- Providing premium customer service rooted in deep product knowledge
- Proactively upselling to boost sales and repeat visits
- Team collaboration:
- Fully engaging with YO! Team values, supporting teammates and guests
- Staying informed via YO! 360, team meetings, and briefings
- Collaborating to deliver a stellar guest experience in every shift
- Operational awareness: Tracking restaurant performance and contributing to profitability
- Safety commitment: Ensuring the well-being of both team members and guests

Requirements
- Passion for food and food service
- Previous restaurant/hospitality experience preferred
- Willingness to go above and beyond for customers
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and compliance
- Team player mentality with a willingness to learn
