Salary: £12.71 per hour Contracted Hours: 8 hours
About YO! Sushi
We launched in 1997, revolutionising the London restaurant scene and setting a new standard for UK dining. Our unique kaiten (conveyor belt) concept and colour-coded dishes made us instantly recognisable.
Passionate about fresh, authentic, and bold Japanese flavours, we’re best known for sushi but also offer a diverse range of hot street food, from classic dishes to modern fusion creations—all packed with rich, aromatic flavours and deep umami profiles.
Today, we operate over 70 restaurants worldwide, more than 300 kiosks across the UK, plus grocery products and pre-packaged sushi available in major UK supermarkets.

Essential Key Responsibilities
✅ Enthusiasm & Customer Focus
- Represent YO! with a bubbly disposition, ensuring every customer interaction is friendly, welcoming, and exceptional.
- Maintain positive communication with customers, including:
- Welcoming & greeting all visitors (including bookings/reservations).
- Promoting our menu to maximise sales.
- Upselling to enhance revenue and drive repeat business.
✅ Product & Service Excellence
- Stay up-to-date with all product knowledge—every dish, ingredient, and seasonal specials.
- Provide high standard service, reflecting our commitment to quality and authenticity.
- Ensure safe, hygienic, and allergen-conscious environments for all guests.
✅ Team Collaboration & Continuous Learning
- Be part of a supportive team, working together to deliver exceptional guest experiences every shift.
- Keep up with company updates via YO! 360, team meetings, and briefings.
- Assist colleagues in running & serving customers smoothly.

✅ Safety & Operational Commitments
- Complete all mandatory training to ensure guest & team safety.
- Maintain cleanliness, adhering to trail app directives and cleaning schedules.
- Actively contribute to restaurant profitability through efficiency and teamwork.
✅ Past Experience (Preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar restaurant environment (not mandatory but advantageous).
