About the Role
As a Team Member in our Food to Go department at Planet Organic, you will embody our mission to promote health and sustainability within our community. Enthusiastically engage with customers, delivering an experience that is enjoyable, educational, and rewarding. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving our freshly made organic food
- Crafting delicious coffees
- Blending juices and smoothies
Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth daily operations, while occasionally assisting in other areas when needed. Planet Organic values customers service skills and a passion for food, health, and well-being. Suitable candidates will receive ongoing support and opportunities for growth as they join our team.

Key Responsibilities
- Make every customer experience fun, educational, and rewarding.
- Serve freshly prepared organic food, make coffees, and prepare juices and smoothies.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean environment.
- Work inclusively with the team to complete daily tasks, potentially assisting in areas outside your usual duties.

Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
- Robust understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices within a retail and hospitality setting.
- A genuine enthusiasm for food, health, and well-being.
- Experience in retail and food/beverage service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to flexibly adapt to shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as store operations vary.
