Team Member (Stock) - Scunthorpe (N121335)

Stock Team Member – Stockroom & Assistant Shop Packaging Operative 6-Hour Weekly Shifts: Mon/Tue 08:00–11:00

Between fast-paced store operations and fulfilling orders for Next’s online customers, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining smooth processes, exceptional stock presentation, and outstanding customer service. This role is key to ensuring products are accurately processed,‏ ‎and sold while upholding our high standards.


About the Role

As a Stock Team Member, you’ll contribute to:

  • Efficiently locating, packing, and transferring stock in and out of store
  • Meeting strict deadlines for on-time online deliveries
  • Keeping operational areas clean, tidy, and organised
  • Assisting across the store, including the sales floors, to provide friendly, fast service

Reporting to a Coordinator or Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative team. Success in this role depends on excellence in your attention to detail and reliability to support internet orders and in-store operations.


Responsibilities

  • Process high volumes of stock with accuracy and speed
  • Caller “handling” support – assist with queries regarding customer orders
  • Maintain a well-presented, easy-to-find stock room with additional responsibilities in the shop
  • Always ready to multitask, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
  • Proactively approach challenges, especially in fast-moving and high-paced environments
