Stock Team Member – Stockroom & Assistant Shop Packaging Operative 6-Hour Weekly Shifts: Mon/Tue 08:00–11:00
Between fast-paced store operations and fulfilling orders for Next’s online customers, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining smooth processes, exceptional stock presentation, and outstanding customer service. This role is key to ensuring products are accurately processed, and sold while upholding our high standards.
About the Role
As a Stock Team Member, you’ll contribute to:
- Efficiently locating, packing, and transferring stock in and out of store
- Meeting strict deadlines for on-time online deliveries
- Keeping operational areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Assisting across the store, including the sales floors, to provide friendly, fast service
Reporting to a Coordinator or Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative team. Success in this role depends on excellence in your attention to detail and reliability to support internet orders and in-store operations.
Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of stock with accuracy and speed
- Caller “handling” support – assist with queries regarding customer orders
- Maintain a well-presented, easy-to-find stock room with additional responsibilities in the shop
- Always ready to multitask, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
- Proactively approach challenges, especially in fast-moving and high-paced environments
