About the Role

As a Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of everything:
- A mix of cooking, customer interactions, and creating exceptional experiences
- Ensuring every dish you prepare and serve reflects the quality of our menu while meeting strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised café, from kitchen equipment to customer tables

Qualifications & Requirements
To apply, you must be 18 or older.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Keeping kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspace spotless and organised
- Serving customers with speed, efficiency, and care
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, including accurate record-keeping
- Implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation to maintain food freshness
- Handling deliveries and ensuring safe, organised food storage
- Operating in line with all Tesco Café policies and procedures
- Preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality menu items exactly as intended
- Ensuring food availability and consistency with café standards
- Managing customer complaints and escalating as necessary to the Café Manager
- Staying informed about new business initiatives and updates
- Frequently clearing, sanitising, and maintaining café tables and spaces
