About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join Cumberland Youth Justice Service and make a difference to our children and their families. We are proud of our compassionate and talented workforce who are ambitious and committed to making a difference.
We are looking for an experienced, skilled, and dedicated person to join our well-established Youth Justice Service as a Team Practice Manager. The successful candidate will manage the multi-agency Youth Justice team across the Cumberland area, providing direct line management to a group of staff and have overall responsibility for the overall day-to-day running of the service. This role will have a focus on quality assurance and practice development across the service.
The applicant should have experience of supervising and managing staff, significant operational experience working within a Youth Justice setting, and a proven track record of assisting performance improvement and developing practice. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a background of building working relationships across multi-agency teams and working with colleagues to secure the best outcomes for children and families.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is:
- Enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Children.
