Welsh Speaking Team Support Advisor

Are you a confident Welsh speaker with excellent customer service skills and strong IT confidence? We're recruiting on behalf of a government body for a temporary Team Support Advisor to join a busy frontline support team. This is a varied role where you'll act as the first point of contact for members of the public and businesses, providing information, guidance, technical support and signposting through a range of channels including telephone, email, and online systems.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling customer enquiries in both Welsh and English
  • Providing first-line support for digital services, including password resets and account access issues
  • Diagnosing customer needs and resolving enquiries at first point of contact where possible
  • Escalating more complex issues to specialist teams
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records using CRM systems
  • Conducting research and providing information to customers and businesses
  • Referring customers to relevant support services and external organisations where appropriate
  • Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting a high-volume contact environment while maintaining excellent service standards

We're looking for:

✅ Fluent Welsh and English language skills (spoken and written)
✅ Previous customer service, contact centre, or helpdesk experience
✅ Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
✅ Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
✅ Accurate administration and data entry skills

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting business customers
  • Understanding of challenges faced by business owners and managers
  • Experience working within a public sector, advice, or support environment
