Are you a confident Welsh speaker with excellent customer service skills and strong IT confidence? We're recruiting on behalf of a government body for a temporary Team Support Advisor to join a busy frontline support team. This is a varied role where you'll act as the first point of contact for members of the public and businesses, providing information, guidance, technical support and signposting through a range of channels including telephone, email, and online systems.
What you'll be doing:
- Handling customer enquiries in both Welsh and English
- Providing first-line support for digital services, including password resets and account access issues
- Diagnosing customer needs and resolving enquiries at first point of contact where possible
- Escalating more complex issues to specialist teams
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using CRM systems
- Conducting research and providing information to customers and businesses
- Referring customers to relevant support services and external organisations where appropriate
- Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting a high-volume contact environment while maintaining excellent service standards

We're looking for:
✅ Fluent Welsh and English language skills (spoken and written)
✅ Previous customer service, contact centre, or helpdesk experience
✅ Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
✅ Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
✅ Accurate administration and data entry skills
Desirable:
- Experience supporting business customers
- Understanding of challenges faced by business owners and managers
- Experience working within a public sector, advice, or support environment
