About the Role
Job Function: Supply Chain Delivery Job Sub-Function: Transportation Services Company: DePuy Synthes (including planned demerger from Johnson & Johnson) All Job Posting Locations: Leeds, UK (R-084440) and Ringaskiddy, Ireland (R-085281).

Job Purpose
The Tech / Broker Governance / Post-Entry Support specialist ensures compliance and efficiency in customs trade activities, coordinating with:
- Internal trade, logistics, and transportation teams
- External customs brokers
Core focus areas: ✔ Governance over customs broker standards, processes, and controls ✔ Post-entry corrections, reconciliations, and amendments ✔ Customs entry accuracy, penalties, and audit readiness ✔ Performance tracking and risk mitigation
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customs broker governance: Monitor adherence to protocols, investigate deviations, maintain compliance.
- Support post-entry operations: Handle corrections, reconciliations, and filings, particularly for customs amendments.
- Data integrity & vulnerability: Flag inaccuracies, fines, or compliance breaches in entry data with cross-team collaboration.
- Audit & reporting: Prepare documentation for internal audits, customs queries, and traceable incentive compliance.
- Continuous improvement: Track broker KPIs, compliance trends, and input process efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or equivalent.
- Preferred: Additional study/certification in customs, trade compliance, logistics, or freight (e.g., CTP, CFE).
Experience
- 2–4 years in trade compliance, customs administration, order processing, or logistics roles.
- Hands-on customs update & reconciliation experience backed by ERP or trade-compliance systems.
- Proven ability to liaise with customs brokers, auditors, and cross-functional teams (domestic/export/import).
Technical Skills

Travel & Logistics
- Up to 10% of time—mostly confined to EU customs hubs (depends on role location).
