Tech-Focused Lead Advisory Partner
£120,000 - £160,000 + significant bonus + long-term equity potential
Most lower mid-market advisory platforms talk about sector strategy. Very few genuinely build around it.
This advisory platform is actively building out its technology and software capability in London and is specifically looking for a sector-focused Partner to help shape and scale the proposition.
Importantly, this is not a traditional generalist Corporate Finance Partner role.
The focus is:
- Technology
- Software
- Tech-enabled businesses
- PE-active growth sectors
- Recurring founder and investor relationships
The platform already has:
- Dedicated origination infrastructure
- Offshore lead generation support
- Embedded accounting and tax referral channels
- Existing deal flow
- A substantial wider client ecosystem

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not: “Build everything yourself from scratch.”
The opportunity is to leverage an already-established advisory and professional services ecosystem to build a serious tech-focused advisory proposition within London.
A particularly interesting aspect is the flexibility around deal size and client profile.
The wider platform can support:
- Lower mid-market transactions
- Larger strategic deals
- Broader sector coverage
- Recurring transaction opportunities

- Has genuine technology/software sector credibility
