- Believes in experimentation, meritocracy, and high velocity
Self-direction, elite technical skill, and a results-first mindset are what matter most. At Speechify, everyone is heard, and young, up-and-comers become leaders quickly—because ideas and impact (not dogma or hierarchy) create success.
Responsibilities

- Take full end-to-end ownership of delivering high-quality features that resonate with users
- Drive long-term strategy for the Android team, pushing technical and product boundaries
- Own reliability metrics for core features and continuously improve performance
- Actively participate in cross-team discussions (design, product, and engineering roadmaps)
- Review pull requests and mentor peers
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues efficiently—fixing bugs is something all engineers do; handling tech debt requires insight
- Lead feature releases through testing, bug-fixing, and sustained improvements

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
