Our Purpose
Nourish Care provides a digital solution to the health and social care sector which improves the process of recording, analysing, and sharing of information. We seek to enhance and simplify care in equal measures; to harness the power of care management software to improve the lives of people who need care and those who provide it.
We are in the midst of one of the most exciting times in our history and while we are the current market leader in the sector, we will not be complacent. We are dedicated to our purpose of a better life for everyone. We continue to revolutionise the care sector and our incredible employees are what make this possible.
About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to lead our Integrations Team. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management and architectural ownership.
You will be accountable for the technical direction, delivery quality, and ongoing evolution of our Integrations layer, which synchronises data between our rostering and care delivery platforms and integrates those systems with third-party partners.
This is a true Tech Lead role with a ~70/30 split between hands-on development and leadership responsibilities.
What You'll Be Accountable For
- Owning the technical direction and architecture of the Integrations platform
- Making pragmatic technical decisions and trade-offs with scalability, performance, and maintainability in mind
- Ensuring non-functional requirements are met (reliability, observability, resilience, performance)
Delivery & Quality
- Leading by example through hands-on development and high-quality code contributions
- Ensuring consistent engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and automation
- Working closely with Product Management to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Acting as the technical escalation point for the squad

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
