About Dizplai
At Dizplai, we transform passive audiences into active communities that drive culture, conversation, and commerce. We partner with Premier League clubs, global motorsport organisations, Olympic sports federations, leading broadcasters, and multi-million subscriber creator networks across sports and entertainment, helping them turn attention into lasting commercial value.
By combining creative consultancy, interactive technology, and data-driven insights, we help unlock the full commercial potential of audiences. We're at the forefront of the shift where platforms are the new networks, creators are the new media companies, and fans want to belong, not just watch.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Tech Lead to run a small, high-performing team of engineers building products that deliver real business and customer value.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll combine software engineering expertise with coaching, technical decision-making, and delivery leadership. You'll help your team move quickly, build with confidence, and take ownership of the products they create.
As a business embracing AI across engineering, we're looking for someone who is curious about modern ways of working and excited to help shape how AI improves software delivery, quality, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 software engineers
- Stay hands-on, guiding architecture, engineering standards, and technical decisions
- Deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native products on AWS
- Drive a "build it, own it, run it" engineering culture
- Improve delivery flow, remove blockers, and help the team ship value quickly
- Champion engineering best practices across testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence
- Work closely with Product, Design, and other business stakeholders to turn priorities into successful outcomes
- Encourage pragmatic adoption of AI tools to improve engineering productivity and quality

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
