About the Role
We’re looking for an ambitious and collaborative editor to join our EMEA Technology, Media & Telecom team in London. This is an opportunity for an experienced journalist who:
- Thrives in a fast-moving news environment
- Values enterprise journalism, deep reporting, and investigations
- Is passionate about media industry dynamics, including UK/EMEA broadcasting, advertising, entertainment, and regulatory patterns
- Can prioritise big themes, partner with reporters, and elevate coverage for a global audience

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Edit stories across TMT industries — from breaking news to long-form features and investigations
- Collaborate closely with reporters to refine ideas, reporting strategies, and storytelling
- Identify trends shaping the sector and push Bloomberg’s agenda
- Ensure accuracy, depth, and competitive edge in all output
- Support cross-regional/program coverage of earnings, deals, and industry events
- Develop reporters by offering guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Proven experience editing in business, industry, or financial news with strong time-management under pressure
- Recognised ability to elevate journalism — features, investigations, and commercially-impactful scoops
- A driving curiosity for the intersection of business, tech, and culture in media (UK/EMEA focus preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, even over multiple time zones
