We’re looking for a Tech-Ops Engineer to help us support and scale our cloud-native infrastructure. You’ll work across the stack—supporting both backend systems and client-facing services—while building out monitoring, deployment automation, and performance tuning capabilities.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure service reliability, security, and uptime.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system health using tools like Sumo Logic, Sentry, Checkly, and custom-built solutions;
- Extend and enhance observability with new metrics, alerts, and dashboards;
- Manage infrastructure using SaltStack and other configuration management tools;
- Support compliance activities and documentation (e.g. PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP);
- Automate deployment workflows and assist in seamless release rollouts;
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high availability and performance across all systems;
- Help refine internal tools and scripts for better efficiency and integration

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
