Account CTO / Technical Lead – Bank of America
Location: London (3 Days per Week)

Salary: £120k-£150k basic + Bonus + Benefits
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Account CTO / Technical Lead to lead the technology strategy and innovation agenda for a flagship Bank of America account. Working for a high-growth global technology consultancy, you'll become the senior technical leader responsible for driving transformational initiatives across one of the firm's most strategic banking relationships. You'll sit at the heart of the account, partnering with executive stakeholders to solve complex business challenges, shape technology strategy and unlock new opportunities across AI, cloud, data and platform engineering.

The Opportunity
As the trusted technical advisor to Bank of America, you'll work alongside the Client Director and senior delivery leadership to shape the bank's technology roadmap, influence strategic investment decisions and lead solution design across multiple transformation programmes.
- You'll be responsible for translating complex business priorities into innovative technology solutions while bringing together specialists across AI, cloud, data, engineering and digital transformation to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- This is far more than a solution architecture position—it's a strategic leadership role where you'll have genuine influence over one of the most significant enterprise banking accounts in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical leader across the Bank of America account, acting as the primary technology advisor to executive stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across the bank, providing strategic guidance on technology transformation initiatives.
- Lead technical solutioning for new opportunities, ensuring innovative, commercially viable and scalable solutions.
- Shape proposals, proof of concepts and technical strategies across AI, cloud, platform engineering and enterprise data.
- Work closely with Client Directors and Delivery Leaders to identify opportunities for account growth and long-term partnership expansion.
- Drive technical governance, architecture discussions and executive workshops.
- Identify emerging technologies and new service offerings that align with the bank's strategic priorities.
- Contribute to the commercial success and continued growth of this flagship enterprise account.
About You
You'll be an experienced technology consulting leader who is equally comfortable presenting to C-suite executives as you are challenging technical architecture with engineering teams.

You'll bring:
- 15+ years' experience in senior technology consulting, solution architecture or technical leadership roles.
- A background with a leading global consulting or technology services organisation.
- Extensive experience delivering technology transformation programmes within corporate banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of payments, liquidity, transaction banking and modern banking platforms.
- Deep expertise across cloud technologies, enterprise data, AI and digital engineering.
- The credibility to influence Managing Directors, C-suite executives and senior business stakeholders.
- A proven ability to translate business challenges into innovative technology solutions that create measurable commercial value.
- A track record of growing strategic enterprise accounts through trusted client relationships and technical leadership.
