About the Role
PlayStation is excited to offer a career opportunity as a:
Technical Account Manager II
The ideal candidate will ensure game development partners have the best experience while creating on PlayStation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent PlayStation’s technical expertise and advocate for partners to influence game development decisions.
- Lead partner relationships, collaborating globally to build consistency in service.
- Bridge technical and business development aspects, working with:
- Developer Technology Group (DTG) engineers
- Business account management teams
- Meet partners proactively to identify project risks, support needs, and growth opportunities.
- Build long-term collaborative relationships with technical decision-makers.
- Maintain strong ownership over accounts & titles, prioritizing issue resolution for smooth workflows.
- Capture partner feedback and champion it internally within PlayStation.
- Recommend and promote standard methodologies to licensed partners.
- Provide onsite technical support and training.
- Contribute to training events, postmortems, and advisory panels.
- Travel frequently between Sony offices in Japan and Korea to visit partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering experience: Hands-on exposure to game SDKs and strong understanding of their functionality.
- Profound knowledge of the Korean game development culture and ecosystem.
- Familiarity with general game development pipelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, plus customer-service focus.
- Ability to quickly onboard with technical projects. Must possess adaptable expertise.
- Independent workload capacity while syncing smoothly with global partner teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively and collaborate cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges. If issues cannot be fixed in-house, identify and seek additional technical resources.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in industry experience.
- Full proficiency in English and Korean languages.
Preferable
- Technical understanding of PlayStation platforms and SDKs.
- Direct experience contributing to console title launches in a technical role.
- Exposure to global team dynamics.
- Basic Japanese language proficiency (a plus).
- Prior experience working collaboratively with external partners.
