Technical Sales Account Manager/Partner Coach
Our client, a fast-growing and highly innovative smart home & building automation business, is looking for a Technical Sales Account Manager/Partner Coach to join their expanding UK team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is disrupting its market and scaling rapidly with revenues of £200M and a £1B growth target.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting partners (installers/integrators) with technical queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Assisting with project planning, including system design and hardware selection
- Troubleshooting installations and providing practical, solution-focused advice
- Guiding partners through setup, configuration, and commissioning
- Delivering training and onboarding support to new and existing partners
- Helping partners successfully sell and implement solutions
- Collaborating with internal teams across sales, training, and technical support

What skills you’ll bring
- Background in electrical engineering, automation, or similar technical field would be highly advantageous
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Confidence communicating with partners via phone, email, and in person
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and practically
- A technically credible approach with strong relationship-building skills
- Interest or experience in smart home tech, IoT, or building automation
- A proactive, motivated mindset suited to a fast-growth environment
