Technical Account Manager : Commercial Portfolio

Location: City of London

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm + hybrid working

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced technical leader who excels at driving client partnerships, commercial growth, and engineering excellence across high-profile commercial property?

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join a privately owned, independent building services specialist renowned for maintaining some of Central London's most prestigious corporate landmarks. Built on a reputation for technical craftsmanship, showroom-standard plant rooms, and authentic client diplomacy, our business puts engineering authority at the heart of contract delivery.

This role is ideal for a polished building services manager who wants to bridge the gap between complex MEP operations and strategic account management—taking ownership of client relationships, technical compliance, team leadership, and account growth without getting bogged down in corporate bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship and Strategic Partnership

  • Trusted Client Ambassador: Serve as the primary, daily point of contact for Landlord Asset Managers, Managing Agents, and C-suite corporate tenant representatives.
  • Executive Reporting: Lead formal monthly and quarterly account reviews, presenting transparent reporting on SLA/KPI achievement, statutory compliance metrics, energy insights, and operational milestones.
  • Consultative Communication: Translate complex M and E operational data and technical challenges into clear, actionable executive updates for non-technical client stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
