Your Impact
As a Splunk Technical Account Manager, you will directly enhance the adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for our most critical customers, driving strategic business outcomes. Act as a trusted expert advisor, providing technical guidance and bridging the gap between customer needs and our product teams to champion continuous software improvements. Build deep relationships, resolve complex challenges, uphold customer health, and maximize ROI. Success in this role means empowering businesses to build resilient operations using groundbreaking technologies while uncovering mutually beneficial growth and expansion opportunities.
What You Will Do
- Provide expert mentorship and guidance on enterprise-level architecture, configuration, and data governance in Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud to ensure optimal system performance.
- Execute strategic adoption activities, including regular engagements and detailed documentation, to deliver valuable, measurable customer outcomes.
- Design and prioritize solutions addressing scalability, performance, integration, and technical debt to optimize customer workloads.
- Develop outcome-focused assessments to drive:
- Cost reduction
- Risk mitigation
- Enhanced operational efficiency
- Assist customers with capacity and upgrade planning for seamless readiness during critical events and major projects.
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for:
- Adoption and enablement initiatives
- Technical escalations, ensuring a streamlined customer experience.
- Monitor and lead technical support interactions to resolve high-priority cases efficiently and prevent future incidents.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, Sales teams, and Professional Services to craft cohesive account strategies.
- Contribute to team expansion by:
- Building repeatable processes
- Developing internal tools
- Creating repeatable workflows
- Drive high customer satisfaction (CSAT) by highlighting success stories and identifying product upsell and expansion opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience administering and using the Splunk platform.
- 3+ years of experience in Splunk implementation, build, and architecture.
- 2+ years of experience working specifically with Splunk Cloud.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with:
- Scripting languages: Bash Application development: Java, Python, .NET
- Experience executing 1+ enterprise Cloud Migration projects.

- Splunk Core Certified Consultant accreditation.
- Familiarity with the broader Splunk product ecosystem and integrations.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Multi-tier Splunk architectures
- Clustering and scalability topics
- Strong proficiency in Splunk Processing Language (SPL).
- Demonstrated ability in technical consulting or big-data analytics.
- Thorough understanding of:
- Splunk Deployment Methodology
- Implementation best practices
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to:
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, alongside a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Willingness to undergo appropriate security background checks (e.g., UK SC clearance).
