About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our TT Clearing & Post-Trade team. This is a hands-on, pivotal role where you will oversee the full client lifecycle—from gathering requirements through to production deployment and ongoing support.
You will act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, address non-support-related escalations, and validate deliveries to ensure they meet client expectations and requirements. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise and client relationship management, bridging the gap between technical capabilities and client business needs.
You must deeply understand our products, be capable of deploying and troubleshooting advanced issues, and effectively communicating to manage expectations and negotiate with third parties.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Ownership
- Handle support escalations as the primary point-of-contact for complex technical issues
- Work closely with the TT Service team to track client issues within ServiceNow
- Track and resolve high-priority issues for timely delivery of critical changes
- Proactively update clients on fixes and updates, ensuring awareness
- Own the entire technical relationship lifecycle, collaborating with the TT Service Manager who manages the broader client engagement
- Focus on technical client needs, serving as the primary liaison with Client Clearing contacts
- Conduct regular client status reviews and follow-ups for outstanding issues
- Lead onsite/remote workshops, demos, and project continuity conversations
Technology Deployment & Validation
- On-board new clients, including onboarding training sessions
- Execute end-to-end software delivery telcos to ensure quality and compliance
- Develop technical specifications for changes or new functionality
- Validate client deliveries from a functional and technical standpoint
- Conduct pre-delivery demos for high-impact changes and client approval
- Raise and drive development tickets through the internal process
- Test coordination with Third-party connections and exchanges to obtain test environments, credentials, and documentation
Project Management & Risk Mitigation
- Schedule and coordinate timelines across exchanges, infrastructure teams, and developers
- Identify and propose alternative solutions when standard prerequisites are unavailable (e.g., custom connectivity)
- Capture and follow-up on client requests across proposals, translating ambiguity into clear action plans
- Mitigate dependency risks through structured communications with third-party teams and exchanges

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Technical Proficiencies
- Deep understanding of financial market infrastructure in post-trade and clearing
- Strong SQL foundation, with the ability to write queries for database updates or module configuration
- Networking fundamentals (ability to debug with tools like
ping,telnet, understanding NAT, firewall rules) - Comfort with software deployment, upgrade procedures, and release processes
- Experience managing multi-ownership deployments across diverse environments
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Exceptional communicator, adept at negotiating, managing expectations, and running formal status meetings
- Ability to adaptively navigate dependencies, including resolving issues with third-party gateways or exchanges
- Deep interdisciplinary coordination experience: working between business analysts, developers, exchange parties, network teams, and clients
- Proven track record managing 9-15 demanding clients, handling minor escalations independently with minimal oversight
Process & Methodologies
- Clear methodology for gathering firm requirements and defining acceptance criteria in collaboration with clients
- Strong project governance skills, organizing client portfolios into structured workflows (e.g., proposal drafting to implementation)
- Proactive and structured approach in follow-ups, production of documentation
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol and market gateway standards
- Hands-on experience with deployment tools ( parfois-specific platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of client relationship management (CRM) tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)
