About the Role
Working hours: 37 hours per week
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Salary: £26,775 to £31,500 per year (depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid working (office base at Washington, Tyne and Wear)
We’re currently recruiting a Technical Administration Assistant to join our busy technical administration team on a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Water Regulations department in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
As the Technical Administration Assistant, your role will be varied and dynamic. You’ll provide administrative and technical support to the Water Regulation Team, who enforce water regulations across our supply area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out general administrative duties
- Coordinating technical support for the team in advance planning and new developments
- Scheduling appointments for developments
- Providing technical advice to developers and installers regarding diverse water installations
- Assisting in managing professional membership schemes
The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining technical reports for the team. Experience or knowledge of water regulations is advantageous but not essential. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with other water companies via industry working groups.
About You
To thrive in this role, you must:
- Have proven experience handling highly sensitive information
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills for all levels (both internally and externally)
- Show strong ability to manage time effectively, work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- boast of experience in administration or customer service roles to maintain a professional company image
