Technical Administrator
Claims Administration Support Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven team player to support our claims handling and administration teams—helping manage caseloads, access client systems, support case management, and contribute to data capture, analysis, and reporting that truly adds value.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up new matter files on the file management system, handling all basic procedural checks and actions in line with agreed procedures
- Assist claims handlers and supervisors with daily To Do Lists and caseload management under supervision
- Conduct a review of new cases
- Manage notifications and incoming work via third-party systems, adhering to established templates and protocols
- Manage a small caseload of low-complexity matters under close supervision, escalating issues as needed and ensuring SLA compliance
- Take responsibility for basic financial administration and transactions related to cases
- Generate monthly reporting for client review using Excel
- Conduct billing administration
- Analyse data to help improve business success and performance
- Ensure accurate data capture, monitoring, and reporting
- Support management information (MI) and reporting requirements, including:
- Maintaining accurate data
- Producing standard reports
- Assisting with client-facing submissions
- Promote the client’s brand and methodology effectively in all dealings with third parties
- Oversee quality control and client protocol compliance on own caseload, including:
- Accuracy and timeliness of record-keeping
- File management
- Management reporting and information

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- IT literate, with working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Strong keyboard skills
- Previous experience in an administrative role (preferred)
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Capacity to progress tasks using initiative, seeking guidance when needed
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable handling routine client and third-party correspondence
- Quality and customer service oriented, with an attention to accuracy and detail
- Knowledge of case management systems (preferred)
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent (graduates welcome but not essential)
- Relevant experience in legal, insurance, or claims administration (preferred)
