About The Role
Asset Management Business Unit is seeking an experienced Technical Administrator to support various Public Realm services in the delivery of Highway Maintenance, Street Lighting, EV Infrastructure, Street Furniture and Parks Play Equipment.
You’ll assist in ensuring that the Asset Management Business Unit provides an efficient and effective service, which meets legislative and council policy requirements, through business coordination and administration of Asset Management works, services, and infrastructure.
You’ll manage and maintain operational information in all Business Unit IT systems and will maintain and operate computerized (script and pictorial) asset-based systems. This particularly relates to the Asset Management Database – Confirm, iWorld, and GIS mapping.
About You
You’ll need excellent IT and organizational skills as well as a strong customer-focused approach and telephone manner. You will provide written and verbal service-related technical advice to Officers, Members, Members of the Public, Contractors, Community groups, and all stakeholders on matters relating to Asset Management.

The post holder will organize and prioritize resources in order to meet the demand of all Asset Management service areas.
About The Team
The Asset Management Business Unit is a collaborative and service-focused team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing public realm infrastructure, including highways, street lighting, EV infrastructure, street furniture, and parks play equipment. The team works closely with internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure assets are managed efficiently, safely, and in line with legislative and council policy requirements.

Additional Information
- Office based in Tooley Street or Copeland Road Depot, Peckham
- Hours of work: 36 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- This role will be offered as a fixed term contract/secondment for 2 years (24 months).
