Summary
We're recruiting for a Technical Administrator to join our Sofina team. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30, offering an excellent opportunity to support a busy Technical function within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The Role
The Technical Administrator will provide a high standard of administrative support to the Technical department, ensuring work is completed accurately and within required timescales.
Working closely with the Technical Manager, Quality Assurance team, and wider site functions, you will play a key role in maintaining documentation, supporting customer and supplier requirements, monitoring KPI data, and contributing to the effective operation of the Quality Management System.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Quality Management System and associated documentation
- Operate and develop document control procedures
- Assist with the completion of customer and factory specifications, including QASs and photo standards
- Support the completion of supplier questionnaires and technical documentation
- Review and approve artwork in line with company procedures
- Maintain statistical records and support KPI reporting activities
- Assist with the logging, investigation, and administration of customer complaints
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Technical Manager and QA Department
- Compile technical reports and maintain accurate departmental records
- Work collaboratively across departments to support site objectives and resolve issues positively
- Maintain effective communication with senior stakeholders, other sites, and external contacts
- Ensure all administration duties are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

- Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Resilient and determined, with a strong focus on completing tasks to a high standard
Preferred Experience
- Previous administration experience
- Experience within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment desirable
- Understanding of retailer products and quality standards beneficial
- Experience managing tasks or projects through to completion
- Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications
