Technical Analyst
Technical / Quality Lead Role at Morrisons Manufacturing
Our Technical / Quality team plays a vital role at Morrisons Manufacturing, ensuring legal compliance from a food safety perspective. Our busy, high-demanding sites maintain intricate operating standards, keeping our Technical team actively engaged daily.
About the Role
Reporting to the Shift Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring, controlling, and auditing the production process.
- Ensuring conformity and non-conformity are communicated, followed up, and closed off.
- Investigating food safety incidents by conducting root cause analysis and upholding daily site technical functions.
- Supporting the site management team during external accreditation (such as BRC and Morrisons Manufacturing Standards).
- Ensuring seamless support for site production during new product line launches.

About You

- A keen eye for detail and resilience,
- Confidence to challenge with a proactive, results-driven approach,
- A strong ability to be a team player, with excellent communication skills,
- Familiarity with basic PC skills (preferably proficient with Google tools),
- Food industry experience in a technical or related role,
- Preference for a HACCP qualification or equivalent food safety certification.
