Connect Appointments is recruiting a Technical and Compliance Manager to join an established business based in East Kilbride.
Our client operates a busy processing facility in East Kilbride, requiring an experienced manager to ensure the site remains safe, compliant and legally certified across all operational and environmental requirements.
What's on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 3:45pm
- 37,000 to 42,000 per annum - dependent on experience
As a Technical and Compliance Manager, your duties will include:
- Ensuring the facility operates safely, legally and in full compliance with all relevant regulations
- Maintaining ISO quality, health and safety and environmental management systems
- Managing all environmental licences, permits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Providing strategic direction on legislative compliance and the implications of planned new legislation
- Overseeing facilities management including fire prevention, energy usage and waste stream recycling
- Supporting the operations team to improve throughput, productivity and revenue from used IT equipment
- Working closely with senior managers and the sales team to meet business objectives

To be considered as a Technical and Compliance Manager, you will need:

- Previous experience in a warehouse, production or technical leadership role
- A working knowledge of ISO27001, ISO9001 and ISO14001 requirements
- General knowledge of IT products and systems
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
- HND or equivalent qualification in IT, technical or business disciplines
- Must be able to pass a Disclosure Scotland basic check
