We operate from beautiful head offices overlooking the river Ouse in Lewes, East Sussex.

THE ROLE

In this key support role, as Technical and Master Data Executive you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth execution of key operational processes. You will act as a central point of coordination between multiple teams, including Production, Logistics, Finance, Compliance, NPD, Quality and Commercial to ensure operational alignment from concept to launch and throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Technical Director you will be responsible for the following:

Master Data Management

  • Ownership of the SKU creation process in the ERP system in coordination with the cross-functional Teams, ensuring entries are accurate, standardized, and aligned with internal data and product setup requirements
  • Create and manage a controlled change management process ensuring ongoing data integrity
  • Maintenance and timely updates of Bills of Material (BOMs) in the Priority ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Own the generation of new GTINs and coordinate their accurate implementation across relevant systems and physical products, ensuring compliance with standards and operational accuracy
  • Create a self-service culture within systems for cross functional team support

Artwork Coordination

  • Coordinate the end-to-end artwork sign-off process in the correct products, formats and languages, ensuring timely reviews and approvals across all departments including Compliance, Quality, Nutrition, Brand, Production and Design
  • Implement a process to maintain version-control, and traceability; aligned with systems
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure accurate change management of new multi-language label formats.
  • Responsible for coordination of Peel & Reveal label designs for new product development (NPD), ensuring all artwork updates are accurately reflected and available for print

Support Product Registrations

  • Support the registration of new products or existing products in new regions by coordinating the submission of product-design, nutritional-data and artwork.

Compliance

  • Ensuring compliance by maintaining up-to-date product documentation, certifications, supplier records and audit scheduling in line with regulatory and company requirements.

NPD support

  • Assist NPD and Science & Innovation teams on NPD developments eg merch & seasonal developments

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:

  • Experience in operational, supply chain, or project coordination roles, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or a product-based environment
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management and prior involvement with data management (SKUs, GTINs barcodes, BOMs)
  • Relevant experience supporting artwork, compliance, design, or NPD (New Product Development) teams, with strong communication and document management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and process-driven, with the ability to improve systems, manage multiple stakeholders, and ensure accurate, on-time delivery of allocated tasks.
  • Experience managing product or artwork lifecycle including version control in a complex and fast-moving environment
  • Proven project coordination skills, adept at managing timelines, cross-functional communication, and workflow tracking using online project management tools
  • IT skills including G-suite or MS Office, in particular Excel
