About the Role
Are you an engineer with technical applications experience, looking to work for a growing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplying a wide range of industries globally?
Would you like a role where you work with an experienced engineering team, utilise cutting-edge technologies, and play a key part in developing bespoke client solutions?
We offer an excellent opportunity for a talented Technical Applications Engineer to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, focusing on:
- Soft starters
- Motor control
- Motor protection solutions
You will review customer applications and specifications, recommending the most suitable products and technical solutions. This is a key role within a global leader in the design and manufacture of motor control solutions, renowned internationally as a pioneer in digital soft starter technology.

Ideal for someone with experience in industrial automation, motor control, drives, motor protection, or related electrical engineering sectors.
Responsibilities
Support customers, distributors, and sales teams in:
- Product selection, commissioning guidance, and application advice
- Technical enquiry responses, ensuring professionalism and high standards of service
- Developing and delivering technical training for customers, distributors, and colleagues
Additional Support:
- Creation and review of technical documentation, application guides, case studies, and product literature
- Technical input for website content, product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer communications
Person Specification
Minimum requirements:
- HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and industrial applications
